Hi, I’m Morgan!

Hi! It’s so nice to e-meet you! I’m a Professional Makeup Artist and Esthetician for the last 6 years.

I love creating glowy, radiant, lit-from-within makeup looks that make some feel like the best version of themselves (and maybe adding a touch of glam).

Oh, and I’m a bookworm!

Growing up, I had no idea I could make a living as a Makeup Artist.

I have always loved makeup, but makeup was always just a hobby and I never thought it could become a career. Do you remember being a senior in high school and being asked, “Where do you see yourself in 5 years”? Well, back then I would’ve told you I would be a nurse in 5 years. Let’s all laugh together.

I always wanted to help people and, to my 18 year old self, the best way I could make a career out of helping people was to pursue nursing (except I suck at math, facepalm). While in college I joined Delta Zeta and I was always the go-to person for makeup whether my sisters and I hosted sorority events, or just going out for dinner. The more makeup I did, and with the support of my now husband, Zach, I realized it could be possible to make a career as a makeup artist. And I would be helping people, just not in the way I planned. AND I would be doing something I loved, yes please!

When I was 20 I enrolled in beauty school, and shortly after I landed a job at MAC.

I studied Esthetics at Summit Salon Academy in Lexington, KY. While in school I learned all things skin, waxing, and… makeup, right? Not quite. Unfortunately only the very basics of makeup artistry was taught while I was at Summit so I knew I needed to look elsewhere to learn all there was to learn. So, I went straight to the experts.

I started working at MAC Cosmetics in 2017. It was there that I laid the foundation (no pun intended) of my makeup expertise. I worked at MAC while I finished school and after I graduated I worked there full-time. My MAC career would last for the next 4 years, and let me tell you, those were some of the best years of my life.

The birth of Meria Beauty LLC

When I thought about leaving MAC to start my own biz, I was admittedly scared (okay, terrified!). I remember praying for clarity and boy, did the good Lord come through. After an emotional phone call with my mom and lots of prayer, the VERY next day I got a call completely out of the blue asking me to do makeup for Nicholas Sparks for some promotional work for his book, “The Return”. I said yes, and after the phone call ended I remember bawling my eyes out because I knew that was my answer.

In the summer of 2020 I was ready to take a leap of faith and start my own business, thus, “Meira Beauty LLC” was born.

‘ Seeing clients completely radiate with self-confidence after a service is the best part of my job and why I do what I do.’

That’s why I chose “Meira Beauty” as my business name, it means “one who shines”. I thank you for your interest in my small business, and I look forward to meeting you in person! xoxo

“Morgan Heber has done my makeup for all three of my proms. Going into each makeup session, I was shy and didn’t really know what I wanted, but Morgan made me feel welcome and brought me out of my comfort zone. We worked together to see what colors would work for me and my outfit and the final product turned out GREAT! She also offered some great makeup tips and advice to help ensure that my makeup would stay on all through the night. Morgan doesn’t see her clients as “clients,” she see’s them as family. I will definitely be using Morgan on my wedding day and for any other events. Morgan is a phenomenal makeup artist and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is seeking a professional for any occasion.”
